We founded Leyenda Traducciones 25 years ago aiming to specialise in what we did best: legal translation.
It is the specialisation we chose at university and the type of content we felt most confident and comfortable translating.
Collaborations
Since our inception, we have worked closely with the Notarial Association of Valencia, as well as with a great number of law firms, consultancies, notaries and administrators, which has allowed us to learn what an apostille is for, what a living will is or why corporate resolutions need to be placed on public record.
Types of documents
At our offices in the heart of Valencia we deal with all kinds of documents: deeds, wills, legal claims, court rulings, private agreements, articles of association, registry certificates, criminal records, diplomas, academic transcripts, auditing reports and much more.
We handle every assignment with great care and individual dedication, adapting to each project’s needs, backed by the confidence we get from knowing the ins and outs of the procedures and formalities behind the legal content we translate.
Other services
We also provide sworn translation services for documents that are issued in one country and need to be legally valid in another, i.e. official documents that are not written in the official language of the country where they are required. Sworn translations are legally binding documents since they are performed by government-authorised translators.
